Deadlines for product launches or releases by our customers are always fixed, either because end-customers have already pre-ordered the product or since it is supposed to be presented at a trade fair. In our experience, these deadlines tend to be tight. That is why our customers value the fact that we deliver high-quality products, on time. To ensure this, we apply the following strategy: when we begin working on a product – during development and planning – we invest a little more time, which proves to save loads of time and money during the production phase.
Comprehensive feasibility study
Our customers operate in highly innovative industries where new products are developed at lightning speed. This means we constantly receive orders for the manufacture of new precision parts. When particularly complex orders are received, we start by using checklists to conduct an in-depth feasibility study. This consists of analysing the manufacturing feasibility from technical and cost aspects, establishing production data, such as what automated machine type, tools and testing equipment are needed, and defining cleaning, packaging and documentation requirements. If the feasibility study concludes that the order is not feasible due to technical, economic or time issues, we work with the customer to find an alternative solution. The goal is always to find the most cost-effective solution among technically viable alternatives.
Precise design
We work closely together with the customer on the design of any new precision part. Contemporary software, such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Alphacam and STP Viewer, helps us design parts quickly and precisely, while also facilitating data exchange with the customer. Once the design phase for a new part is complete, we produce a prototype and pilot series. Providing these development services prior to the final production start and working closely with our customers, enables us to avoid complications during the production process and thus ensure that all our precision parts, even completely new ones, are of high quality and are delivered to our customers on time.
