Renewable heat generation
Our modern production building with an area of 2,000 m2 complies with the latest environmental standards and, thanks to its double-glass façade with rear ventilation and fully automatic shading system, requires little energy for space heating or cooling. The relatively modest heat demand can therefore be covered by a water-to-water heat pump with an intermediate circuit for air-to-water operation and by heat recovery from the ventilation system. The rooms are cooled by mechanical ventilation and recirculating cooling units without refrigerants.
Less fossil fuels
In addition to heating and cooling, we have also implemented environmental measures in the area of mobility. Thanks to our computer-controlled monitoring and alarm system for the building infrastructure, our maintenance specialists can solve 90 per cent of all problems remotely and do not have to use a vehicle in these cases. Moreover, we are saving more fuel through the replacement of our diesel-powered forklifts with electric forklifts.
