Final cleaning is the last step in the manufacturing of Roth precision parts. It fulfils the highest requirements for residual particles and environmental protection.
After production, our precision parts are subjected to a final cleaning in a controlled environment. During this cleaning process, grease and oil are reliably removed – even from highly complex parts with the smallest bores and milling. If required – especially for orders from the medtech industry – we achieve the highest class in terms of residual grease content (≤ 0.20 mg/dm2) and particle size (≤ 100 μm).
Cleaning capacity
We have expanded our production capacity in recent years by adding several automatic production lathes. Accordingly, we have also recently extended our cleaning capacity by one cleaning system. The SOLVACS 3S from the German supplier HEMO impresses with its vacuum technology as well as its hybrid cleaning process.
Vacuum chamber
SOLVACS 3S is a full vacuum system. The entire process takes place under negative pressure. In its treatment chamber, the parts are permanently surrounded by solvent vapour. The cleaning and drying effect is significantly better compared to conventional cleaning systems.
Hybrid cleaning
To further optimise the cleaning result, we have opted for hybrid cleaning. Hybrid cleaning is a process that combines solvents and water. This allows organic and inorganic soiling to be optimally removed.
Environmental protection
Choosing the SOLVACS 3S also means taking responsibility for the environment. Modified alcohol is used as a solvent. Alcohol is a more environmentally friendly alternative to conventional solvents. The SOLVACS 3S also scores highly in terms of energy efficiency. It saves around 30 % energy compared to common systems. These savings are due to the insulation of its tanks, chambers and filters, a pump design adapted to the process and the minimisation of power peaks by means of a control system.
We customise the final cleaning process to suit the precision part and the customer’s requirements. Once the parameters have been defined, we ensure that the cleaning process can be repeated exactly.
Please note: With the SOLVACS 3S, we are expanding our machine park with a system of the latest generation. However, both the cleaning agent and the cleaning sequence remain unchanged compared to those of our two existing systems.
